When the life you created no longer fits the person you've become.

Some of us are loud on the outside but quiet inside.

Some of us are bright within but still learning how to let it show.

For the past few years, I’ve been in the latter camp.

Post-pandemic, I went through a deep shift. Like many of us, I spent months in sweatpants and oversized hoodies, hiding in softness, in comfort. My body changed. I turned thirty. I’d done so much work on who I wanted to become, but when I looked in the mirror, or around my home, or at my day-to-day life, it didn’t feel like a reflection of me anymore.

And that’s where this begins: the quiet ache of dissonance. The moment when your inner truth starts outgrowing the container you’ve built around it. Because self-expression isn’t just outfits and aesthetics.

It’s your lifestyle. Your rituals. The way you move through your day. The music you play. The places you choose to go. The friends you keep close. The brands you buy from. Even the way you speak.

It’s not about finding a box to fit into, it’s about building something fluid enough to hold all of you.

You don’t need to choose between being soulful and stylish, sensitive and ambitious, grounded and playful. You’re allowed to be the yoga teacher who listens to trap music. The healer who wears red lipstick. The artist who also loves spreadsheets. You don’t have to make sense to anyone but yourself.

Human Design has helped me understand this in a way that feels deeply affirming. I’m a 5/1 Emotional Projector with a completely open G-Center. Which, in practice, means I’m here to try on different ways of being. I’m not meant to anchor into a single identity, I’m meant to explore. To flow. To embody my truth in different seasons and different styles.

And in my birth chart? Venus in Gemini. Which basically screams: give me change, give me stimulation, give me freedom in the way I express myself or I’ll implode.

When I look at these two things together, it makes so much sense. I’ve always needed space to evolve. To express my truth through different lenses. To change my mind. To shapeshift. And not because I’m being inconsistent, but because I’m learning who I am through the act of expression.

This is why aligning our outer world with our inner world isn’t just about style. It’s about integrity. It’s about feeling at home in your life, and in your business.

Because if you’re a creative, a guide, a healer, a soul-led entrepreneur… your brand is an extension of you. It’s not just a logo or a colour palette. It’s the energy you move with. It’s how your work feels when people encounter it. It’s how clearly your truth shines through what you create.

The most magnetic brands are the ones that are rooted in something real.

Not because they follow a formula, but because they reflect someone who is truly in alignment.

And that alignment starts way before you design a website or write your bio.

It starts with knowing who you are becoming, and letting your business rise to meet that version of you.

I often say that we create brands not just for who we are today, but for who we’ve been and who we’re becoming. We build them to serve the kind of people we once were, before the transformation. So in many ways, it’s all connected: your self-expression, your identity, your healing, your truth. It all wants to be seen. Felt. Understood.

And lately, I’ve been feeling the stretch between the expansion that’s happened within me, and the physical life I’m still living on the outside. It’s why I crave leaving London. It’s why I crave nature, spaciousness, quieter rhythms. Because my outer reality hasn’t caught up with my inner evolution yet, and that’s a tough place to sit in.

But this is part of the journey, too.

The moment you become too big for the life you’ve built is the moment you know something’s working.

You’re becoming more of yourself. You’re growing. You’re remembering your truth.

The Practice

This is a somatic tapping practice to help you release fear, honour your sensitivity, and return to the truth: it is safe to be seen in your fullness.

Journal Prompts for you

  • Where in your life are you outgrowing your current container?

  • What parts of your identity feel ready to be seen, expressed, or reclaimed?

  • Where are you still dimming your light to stay familiar or safe?

Here is something to reflect on:

Where does your life feel like a reflection of who you are today? And where is it still echoing the past version of you?

Sometimes, the shift starts with something simple: clearing a shelf. Wearing the bold dress. Choosing not to say yes out of habit. Rearranging the furniture. Saying what you actually mean. Letting your voice soften. Or sharpen. Or take up more space.

It’s not about overhauling everything overnight. It’s about noticing where you’re ready to show more of who you are, and letting that truth have room to breathe.

Your outer world, your home, your brand, your art, your words, is allowed to grow with you.

And if you need support in this in-between space, here's how you can work with me:
